Get ready for Legally Blonde Jr.!

Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle’s high school boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she’s not “serious” enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren’t mutually exclusive.  As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.

A Pre-Audition Meeting will be held in the WGMS Little Theater on Tuesday, December 19th from 3:30-4:00pm.

A parent/guardian of interested participants MUST fill out the online registration at: https://goo.gl/forms/lJzvXogTEsEbBiR73 BEFORE Monday, January 8th, 5:00 p.m.

Students must also fill out an Audition Packet and submit the completed packet WITH A CURRENT PHOTO to the school office by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9th.  Completed packets may also be brought to the first audition.

Students interested in the Tech Crew should also fill out the on-line registration and an audition packet and drop it off in the office on Tuesday, January 9th or at the first audition.

Production Package payments are due January 19th and can be made online at https://wgpab.ejoinme.org/blonde.  The Production Package offsets the cost of your child’s t-shirt, cast/crew photos, tech week rehearsal dinner, director gifts, and the March 26 cast party.  Please note that you should enter your child’s name when the system asks for “Detailed Information.”

To be eligible for the play, a student must have a 2.0 GPA on the most recent grading period.  Academic eligibility will be confirmed with the school administration prior to students being cast, and will be verified at each 6-week grading period.
