Marquee Gala Audition Registration Form

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Performing at the Gala is open to students of WG Middle and High Schools, parents and community. We are looking to showcase our talented youth, community members and leaders. The types of acts we’re looking for are dancing, singing, comedy, magic, instrumental, actors, skits. Any High School Senior in a performing arts group has priority to be in the show.

GALA WHEN AND WHERE: The Gala is Saturday, February 1st at the San Jose Woman’s Club, 75 S. 11th Street, San Jose, by San Jose State University, starting at 6 pm. Please see the web site for the Club online. There is a beautiful elevated stage where we will have acts performed. We also would like to have roaming performers who may perform magic tricks or sing in small groups.

AUDITIONS WHEN AND WHERE: Auditions are on January 21, in the Little Theater on the WG Middle School Campus 3:15 to 6:15. You must present your act at that time.

Guidelines: -Material must be appropriate. – Maintain eye contact, volume, expression and “showmanship”
– Performance time – 3-5 minutes
– You may have several individuals in one act
