My First App

My most recent endeavor started as a final for a phone apps class at West Valley College. I had created a simple drawing app that ran in a browser. After the class was over, I expanded on that app, learned how to package it for the Blackberry Playbook, and have now gone live in the Blackberry App World store. My app, DrawPix by PixelJo, was built using HTML5/CSS and javascript — lots of javascript. I attended a couple of Blackberry conferences that were extremely helpful in getting me going on developing and selling my app.
